Nice stay, Good hotel.

Perfect location (near the seaside), and good breakfast. Nice indoor pool and very pleasant staff. Room was very clean, staff very helpfull.

The hotel needs some attention to their rooms and common parts. It has already some years, still acceptable. Due to be a hotel with large number o rooms, the elevetors were packed and the breakfast also.

Bed very uncomfortable, asked for mattress topper was told they had none, got one on last night (the only night i could sleep!) There are restrictions due Covid. However: I couldn't use the spa. There is no appointment control. The external swimming pool was not clean, and I couldn't use it. There are no control appointment in the restaurant, and the restaurant was full.

This hotel was ok for what we wanted - a place for a short stay. Not sure I'd stay here again.

We had a room with a beautiful view, facing the beach, with beautiful sunsets. The room was a junior suite and very spacious.

We had to wait on arrival for the ckeaner to check if the room was ready. After waiting a few minutes, we went to the room and found there were several areas very dusty. The first morning I had scrambled eggs that tasted of fish!!! The cappuccino coffee tasted completely of chocolate. Another morning, all the hot food was cold!!

Great beach, great weather, nice little town (even during the winter). Friendly staff, activities for kids (Halloween themed). Nice breakfast.

Location was amazing, we had an amazing view from our balcony

Staff extremely rude and unhelpful, wouldn’t stay here again.

View from the room was amazing

Staff so rude, not a bit helpful, asked for pillows on several occasions and didn’t receive them. No utilities, kettle, toaster, cups, pans etc, a hob but nothing to cook with.

Beds to hard, there is no welcome guide book in the room telling you what hotel had to offer. They had room service but no menu in the welcome guide book. There was spa at hotel but no information. No tv guide telling you which station is which. Also no coffee or tea in room.

Breakfast was excellent. Lots of variety.

The area around the hotel was good and had easy access to the beach. The hotel breakfast is very good too.

Old fashioned junior suite, 2 single beds instead of a double. No sofa bed in the room when our booking confirmed one. Had to wait for ages for the lift during peak periods such as breakfast etc

Spotless and very accommodating as we were travelling by motorcycle, they found a safe place for us to park. The coffee is fantastic and the staff polite and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic.

Few days in Monte Gordo

Rooms were a good size with nice sea view. Plenty of wardrobe space Location was perfect. Didn't use pool but it looked nice. Apart from cooked items rest of breakfast was OK but not up to standard of other 4 star hotels I've stayed in.

Reception staff weren't very helpful. Felt as if they were just doing bare minimum necessary. Cooked breakfast always cold. Room not swept as still sand on the floor. Not enough parking for size of hotel and parking in the resort a nightmare.

It was a short walk to the beach.

Very outdated, hotel is far from being a 4 star hotel. Rooms have old beds very bad mattresses, bathrooms are horrible, if you don’t take a bath before 4pm you won’t have any hot water and it smells!!! My interaction with staff was none barely saw anyone besides the two people in the front desk or bar. Love the town and the beach itself but will definitely never stay at this hotel again, for the amount of money I paid to stay with my family could have been a more comfortable stay.
